Upper Cervical Care Worth the Drive from Mount Pleasant
East Cooper has plenty of healthcare options, but few that focus on the upper cervical spine the way Charleston Upper Cervical does. For Mount Pleasant residents dealing with migraines, vertigo, neck pain, or nerve symptoms that haven't responded to anything else, our office at 1411 Ashley River Road is an easy trip over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.
The upper cervical approach centers on two vertebrae—the atlas and axis—that sit at the top of the spine and protect the brainstem. A misalignment here, even a subtle one, can ripple through the nervous system and produce symptoms that seem unrelated to the neck. We use precise 3D imaging to pinpoint the exact problem before we ever make a correction.
Our adjustments are gentle and specific, with no forceful twisting or popping. Mount Pleasant patients often tell us the drive is more than worth it once they experience relief that actually holds. Whether you're coming from the Old Village, I'On, or Park West, we're here to help your body heal naturally.
