Is Charleston Upper Cervical accepting new patients?

Yes. Charleston Upper Cervical Chiropractic is currently accepting new patients. You can contact the office to discuss your concerns and schedule a consultation.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. The practice offers a free consultation. The consultation is an opportunity to discuss your concerns and learn more about the approach to care. It does not include an examination, X-rays, imaging, or an adjustment.

What happens during the first visit?

The first visit usually takes about 45 minutes to one hour and includes a consultation, examination, and imaging when appropriate. Treatment is normally not provided during the first visit.

What happens during the second visit?

During the second visit, Dr. Youngblood reviews the findings from the examination and imaging with you, discusses the recommended care plan, and typically provides the first adjustment.

How long are regular appointments?

Regular appointments are typically about 5 to 15 minutes. During the initial phase of care, patients commonly attend about twice per week, depending on their individual care plan.

Do you see children and pregnant patients?

Yes. The practice sees patients of all age groups, including infants and young children, and also sees pregnant patients. Dr. Youngblood determines whether care is appropriate based on the individual patient.

Do you accept personal-injury or attorney cases?

No. Charleston Upper Cervical Chiropractic does not accept personal-injury cases and does not coordinate care through attorney referrals, liens, or PI claims. The practice does provide chiropractic care for concerns such as neck pain and whiplash outside of a personal-injury or legal case.

Do you accept or file health insurance?

The practice does not file claims through health insurance. Patients may request documentation that they can submit to their insurance company themselves. Call the office if you have questions about payment or reimbursement.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

Yes. HSA and FSA payments are accepted. The practice also offers payment options. Prices are not posted publicly, so prospective patients should contact the office to discuss costs.

What types of evaluations and imaging are available?

Depending on the patient and clinical need, the practice uses examinations and technologies that may include thermography, digital X-ray, video motion X-ray, and cone beam CT imaging. Corrective-care and maintenance-care plans are also available when appropriate.

What concerns do patients commonly contact the office about?

Patients commonly contact the practice about migraines, headaches, vertigo, dizziness, neck pain, brain fog, and pain, numbness, or tingling in the arms and hands. A consultation can help determine whether the practice is an appropriate fit for your situation.

Do you offer telehealth or remote consultations?

No. The practice does not currently offer telehealth services.

Where is the office and what are the current hours?

Charleston Upper Cervical Chiropractic is located at 1411 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29407. Hours are Monday 8 AM–12 PM and 2–4 PM; Tuesday 10 AM–1 PM and 2:30–6 PM; Wednesday 8 AM–12 PM; Thursday 10 AM–1 PM and 2:30–6 PM; Friday closed. Patients may enter through either side door of the building.
